
Forget satisfaction! My first priority is always my customer's complete delight. I am a flexible person and understanding with special circumstances. These policies are in place to protect both you as the customer and me as the seller. Communication is key to a successful transaction. Customer's Responsibilities
One you purchase your custom slot please be prepared to finalize the details of your order within 7 days. Orders not finalized within 7 days will be moved to the bottom of the list and given an additional 7 days to finalize. Orders not finalized at the end of 2 weeks from date of purchase will be dropped. Deposits are non-refundable without exception.
Customer is responsible for color/fabric choices and for understanding how to measure for fit. Sweet Mama - Small Sugar is not liable for any items made to the customer's specifications that are aesthetically unappealing or do not fit when received. Advice on choosing coordinating fabrics/yarns and measuring/sizing help is always available if needed.
SMSS's Responsibilities
I will make every effort to ensure our transaction is smooth and pleasant. E-mails will be answered promptly (within 24 hours on business days). All questions are welcomed (there is no such thing as "too many questions" or a "dumb question).
Payment & Shipping
Paypal is my preferred method of payment. Bank transfers, e-check, debit, and credit card purchases are all welcome through Paypal. Personal checks and money orders will also be accepted. Work will not begin on an order until the check clears. Be aware this will add to your turnaround time.
All orders are shipped via USPS with delivery confirmation. First Class shipping is available for items weighing 13 oz. and under. All other domestic items will be shipped Priority. Please contact me for an international shipping estimate. Shipping insurance is included with orders over $100, but is strongly recommended for all orders as SMSS is not liable for packages lost or damaged in the mail.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the personalized nature of custom orders, I do not allow returns or exchanges. That said, my goal is always to delight my customers. If you are in any way unsatisfied with your custom order I want to know about it. Please contact me to see what can be done to make it work for you.

I love to work with you to bring your ideas to life! You choose your fabrics, yarns, customizations, embellishments and let me make it happen for you. Custom slots can be purchased here when they are available. On the first day of each month I make two slots available. One slot is a lottery for purchase, the other an auction. On some months additional slots may be available for standard purchase. At this time I do not keep a waiting list, nor do I take custom requests by e-mail, however, you are always welcome to e-mail me with suggestions for in-stock items.
 Take a moment to review the custom order policies (in the left column of this page). When you are ready, purchase and pay for a custom slot from the in-stock store. Custom slots are not always available if the list is full. To be notified of availability please sign up for our announcement list.
 I will contact you via e-mail within one business day of receipt of your deposit. If you have not heard from me within 24 hours please check your SPAM filter. You can take this time to view available fabrics and yarns to get inspiration for your order in our gallery. I will work with you and help you make your choices to develop the perfect item. Once your order is finalized you will be invoiced for the balance including shipping. You will have one business day to pay your invoice. Once payment is received I will get to work creating your order.
Turnaround time is generally 2-6 weeks depending on circumstances. You will be given a more concrete timeframe when the details of your order are finalized. If you need to know the timeframe on a specific project before ordering, please feel free to ask.
 When work is completed on your order you will be notified of shipping and offered a digital photo of your order via e-mail. I ship via USPS with delivery confirmation. Shipping insurance is included with orders over $100. It is strongly recommended for all orders under $100 as SMSS is not liable for packages lost or damaged in the mail.
